We started with a practical problem: some of the people who may need nutritional support the most are also the least well served by standard product formats.

In practice, support is often fragmented across capsules, powders, sachets, and separate routines. That creates multi-product burden, poor compliance, and unnecessary complexity exactly where consistency matters most.

It also exposes sensitive ingredients to oxygen, moisture, and temperature shifts that can reduce viability before use. LipoBiomix® was built to address that formulation gap: a phospholipid-stabilised liquid lipid micro-matrix designed to protect live cultures and co-deliver multiple actives in a single dose without cold-chain dependency.

Oncology was the first use case because the need is unusually clear, the delivery challenge is unusually high, and the potential value of a better format is easy to understand.

Cancer treatment can disrupt the gut, reduce appetite, and make pills, powders, and complex routines harder to tolerate. In that setting, better delivery and simpler formats are not conveniences; they can shape whether nutritional support is practical at all.

For MiCo, that also makes oncology a demanding early environment for the platform. If a format can stay practical and scientifically coherent in one of the hardest nutritional settings, it creates a strong foundation for broader applications over time.
